Course Details

Today, perhaps the most useful source of publicly available information is social media. All sorts of people reveal all sorts of information about themselves through various kinds of social media, including microblogs, wikis, media sharing, social bookmarking, and social networking sites, which criminals can use to find and target new victims. But social media can also be useful for law enforcement. This course will help learners recognize how each social media type works, as well as how each can be mined for revealing personal details and used both in cybercrime and solving cybercrime.
